Work ongoing to create international standards on menstrual products.

Last week Our Technical Director Mr. Torben Holm Larsen met with 40 colleagues at the Swedish Institute for Standards, SIS Secretariat in Sweden.

40 representatives from across the globe met in person to collectively create standards that will make menstruation safer for the over 300 million people who menstruate every day, and will open markets for the entrepreneurs and innovators seeking to offer them choice.

Some of the expected benefits of having standards in this field:
1) Establishing a "baseline" from where innovation can arise
2) Developing clear and comparable information to the users
2) Assurance that the products are safe to use
3) A complement where regulations are unclear or non-existing
4) A guideline for all stakeholders
