Real Relief India Leads Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program at Sri Vijay Vidyalaya College, Bargur – 10 March 2026.

Real Relief India Leads Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program at Sri Vijay Vidyalaya College, Bargur – 10 March 2026 as part of the India’s Healthiest Women’s Day & Menstrual Hygiene Day – Mission 8 Program, in collaboration with Happy Periods and ISDO.

The initiative aimed to raise awareness about menstrual health and encourage open discussions among young women about menstrual hygiene and well-being.

During the session, Director Mr. Karthik Thangavel shared valuable insights with students about menstruation, menstrual hygiene, and the importance of choosing menstrual products that support both women’s health and the environment. The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating in discussions and engaging with the topic.

As part of the program, Gopad™ packs were distributed to the students to promote access to sustainable menstrual products. Gifts were also presented to students who creatively expressed their thoughts on menstrual health and awareness through poetry.

The initiative is led by the International Social Development Organization and the Happy Periods and Healthy Uterus Trust, organizations working to increase awareness, break menstrual stigma, and promote improved menstrual health practices.

Real Relief is proud to support initiatives that promote menstrual awareness, dignity, and improved health outcomes for women and girls.
