Strengthening Menstrual Health Delivery in Tanzania 🇹🇿

This week, the Safepad team - represented by Oikos, A to Z, and Real Relief - met with 21 of our 25 District Distribution Agents (DDAs) at the Regional Commissioner’s office in Manyara for a full-day capacity-building session.

The workshop focused on:

🔹 Sharing best practices from the field
🔹 Strengthening product knowledge and MHM training
🔹 Discussing challenges, opportunities, and emerging demand
🔹 Reinforcing coordination across districts

Our DDAs are at the heart of Safepad’s mission in Tanzania, ensuring girls and women in even the most remote areas have access to safe, sustainable, and dignified menstrual products.

Their insights and commitment are driving real impact—and we are grateful for their continued dedication.

A special thank you to the Regional Commissioner’s office for hosting us and to our partners for their collaboration. Together, we are building stronger systems, expanding reach, and accelerating progress in menstrual health across Tanzania

Safepad – for dignity, sustainability, and every girl’s wellbeing
