This morning, Real Relief had the privilege of participating in the Mama Ibado Charity Run for Seniors – #WazeeWaKenya.

Organized to support elderly citizens across Kenya, the run raises critical funds to provide nutritious meals and essential medical care for some of the country’s most vulnerable individuals. With 15 km, 10 km, and 5 km categories, every step taken served as a powerful reminder that caring for our elders is both a shared responsibility and a profound act of dignity.

We were honored to be invited by Lush by Zara, who helped make the event even more meaningful by awarding one of the runners a Safepad gift hamper and spa voucher live on stage — a symbolic gesture promoting self-care and respect for all generations.

At Real Relief, we remain committed to inclusive development and ensuring that no one is left behind — not least our elders, who continue to carry wisdom, resilience, and history within them.
